Nevada Gets a Stamp! Carson City, NV — The United States Postal Service will unveil a new postage stamp that honors the Nevada State flag. A special ceremony commemorating the stamp will occur on the steps of the State capitol on April 21st at 11 a.m. Read the full story HERE. Governors Mansion The Nevada Governors Mansion is lit up in blue to "Shine a Light on Autism" Carson City Freeway Opening-Phase 2 Governor Gibbons in the September 24th "Banner Tearing" ceremony for the opening of the 2nd phase of the Hwy 395 bypass.
